Carolina Audiophile Society is pleased to announce that Joe Grado of GRADO LABS fame will be giving a forum at our Oct 31, 2004 meeting at the Weddington Swim and Racquet Club ( get directions )
"FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END OF SOUND"
Mr. Grado will talk about the recording process, microphone and speaker design, along with positioning and adjusting speker systems. These are all based on his original concepts and may very well be revolutionary in the world of audio. We will be among the first to learn about his thoughts on these topics. The interactive lecture will last about 2 hours.
Most of us are aware of the pioneering work Mr. Grado has done in headphone and phono cartridge design and development. His products are legendary. This only touches the surface as far as what Mr. Grado has contributed to the world of audio. To say he is one of the true legends is an understatement. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity of having one of the great giants of high-end audio as a guest speaker.
